Southeast Human Service Center - Fargo, ND - Risk and Facilities Manager Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.SEHSC is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced Risk Manager to join our team and ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and staff, while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.The Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with patient care, clinic operations, and regulatory compliance. This position will play a key role in the development and implementation of risk management strategies that ensure the safety of both patients and staff, while minimizing the clinic's exposure to legal, financial, and reputational risks. The Risk Manager will collaborate closely with clinic leadership, clinical staff, and regulatory bodies to ensure a safe and compliant environment that supports the clinic's mission.Key Responsibilities: risk assessment and Identification; incident reporting and investigation; policy development and implementation; compliance and regulatory oversight; training and education; reporting and documentation; emergency preparedness and crisis management; collaboration and leadership.To be considered for the Risk Manager position, we are looking for qualified individuals with a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, risk management, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, ideally in a behavioral health or healthcare setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices, patient safety, and regulatory requirements. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, including leadership, clinical teams, and external stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
