Career Description




Coordinate and direct daily operations of sick call, doctor call, medical, psychiatry, physical therapy and other contract medical services within JRCC. Arrange and prioritize multiple clinic schedules and provide guidance for clinical operations and infirmary operations in the JRCC medical department. Ensure nursing coverage for a medium security facility operating 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Duties and Tasks

Maintain a cost-effective and efficient care delivery model to ensure a community standard of healthcare for the residents of JRCC.Maintain financial records, oversee inventory, and prepare budget proposals.Provide daily ongoing supervision and direction to JRCC medical department staff.Maintain legal and ethical standards within the JRCC Medical Department.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires an unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse through the North Dakota Board of Nursing.At least three years administrative nursing experience or three years correctional nursing experience.Knowledge of legal and ethical aspects of nursing and related practice.Ability to cover a shift as a Charge RN when needed.

The therapist is responsible for providing Brief Strategic Family Therapy Services for families where a child or children are at-risk of out-of-home placement. With a focus on family preservation, this position will utilize philosophy and skills acquired through Brief Strategic Family Therapy model training and passing competency panel. The position will serve the Fargo Metro area, as well as surrounding areas in Southeast ND.

Duties and Tasks

Therapy: Provides family therapy services in compliance with the Brief Strategic Family Therapy model; Serves as advocate for services for families; makes recommendations related to individual treatment as needed. Documentation and Record Keeping: Completes documentation congruent with the BSFT model; when appropriate, will complete Title IV-E billing in the portal; DJS Time logs; timesheets for payroll. Other duties: Participate in consultation sessions, education, and training opportunities; participate in supervision and other agency related meetings; provide testimony on behalf of agency as needed; and all other duties as assigned. The duties of the position does require travel. No on-call requirements. Ability to work remotely/home office. Flexible 40-hour work schedule. Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree in mental health, social work, family-marriage area of counseling or related fieldOR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of clinical experience working with families may qualify.
