Updated GIS Hub Datasets

There are a number of updated and new datasets on the GIS Hub.  These are:

County Roads (Updated, courtesy of the Department of Transportation)

Bedrock Geology (Updated, courtesy of the Department of Mineral Resources - Geological Survey)

Surface Geology (Updated, courtesy of the Department of Mineral Resources - Geological Survey)

Landslides (New, courtesy of the Department of Mineral Resources - Geological Survey)

Landfills (Updated, courtesy of the Department of Environmental Quality)

Contours 24k (Updated, courtesy of the U.S. Geological Survey and the Information Technology Department)

Accessing the Data

Datasets can be downloaded and/or accessed via web-based data services.  More information on these datasets can be found on the GIS Hub Data Portal. You can search for these datasets (e.g., type in: bedrock) or you may find it convenient to simply locate the data by browsing through the themes.

Statewide Parcel Dataset

• The data is updated weekly (each county may have variable update frequencies)
• The data are available HERE
