Hiring Range: $38,497 - $48,122 annuallyLocation: Bismarck, ND. This position has the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule.The Bank of North Dakota (BND) is seeking a Student Loan Customer Service Representative to join our team! The Bank was established to promote agriculture, commerce, and industry in the State. This position is the primary point of contact for current and potential student loan customers for the Bank of North Dakota. We counsel customers on all aspects of our DEAL Student Loan program including loan origination, avoiding delinquency, student loan refinance and successful repayment. The Customer Service Team is primarily focused on inbound phone calls and requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. In addition to our primary role the Customer Service Team helps to support the Education Market with special projects, support our walk-in customers and assist in other tasks as needed. A successful candidate is detail oriented, has excellent time management skills, is willing to be flexible and has a desire to learn and be a part of a team.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or GED and four years of related customer service work experience related to servicing a variety of products or services, receiving and analyzing information to find solutions, and addressing customer concerns. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for this position. College or vocational education focus in accounting, business administration, banking, economics, or finance may be substituted for the four-year work experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.
