• News
  • NAIP 2018 should be collected by now; NAIP 2019 has support in the Farm Bill
  • GIS budget, as other state budgets, cut by 10% in the Governor's Budget Recommendation
  • Funding for statewide parcel data is in the Governor's Budget Recommendation
  • State Plane Coordinate System 2022 being discussed, may end up with additional coordinate systems, statewide and regional
• 2019 Meeting Schedule
  • Will be set by end of December
• Parcels
  • GISTC reviewed the content of the email that will be sent out via the email list and other channels, this email is a brief recap of the current status of the potential parcel project
• Cloud Status
  • Primary focus is to set up a virtual desktop environment that will provide an environment for working with files, multiple versions of ArcGIS, licensing
  • Once the overall environment has been established, then agency GIS users will be asked to help test
• Feature Class Naming
  • Feature classes will be stored in the "root" directory of the geodatabase instead of in feature datasets
  • Each feature class will include a prefix to assist in sorting of the feature classes, the prefixes have yet to be approved
• Vector Base Maps
  • Bob walked through a use case of changing an Esri base map for use with an application
  • This same process can be applied to GIS Hub vector base maps as they are built
• 2019 Goals
  • Tabled
