- Enterprise digitization in the NDIT bill. Should the bill pass, it will assist in modernizing IT systems, e.g., mainframe.
- Tribal Notification
- MAGIC sponsored a webinar in January during which the USGS an update on notifying tribes prior to collecting data over their lands
- Core of issue: DOI policy required all bureaus to provide tribes opportunity to consult before taking any action that might impact tribal interests. In 2016 USGS determined that included lidar collection.
- Tribal concerns – main one that high-resolution elevation can reveal archaeological sites
- USGS uses both the Census and BIA tribal boundaries to determine if a project intersects tribal lands
- Letters are sent out to tribal connections, others can be added to receive those notifications
- Options to protect the data from public access include modifying area to match surrounding area, remove the tiles, remove entire reservation/trust lands
- Data Oversight Committee
- In the past, this committee has reviewed data to be loaded onto Hub that is new or the structure has changed
- The SGC decided to disband the Data Oversight Committee and in place of that, ask the entire SGC to review and comment.
- Planet Follow-up
- Colin has reached out to Planet to ask about change detection being a tool that the Game and Fish could use for their PLOTS program.
- Field checking is needed to ensure quality land tracts for hunters
- If successful, this tool could supplement and possibly replace the need for manual field checking that requires substantial travel and time
- He has had a meeting with Planet and a 3rd party, AgroGraph. He has provided them example data

- We have Hub-specific information but it is dated
- This document and others will be updated
- Next steps should include tabletop exercises and DR testing that includes failing over to the 2nd data center

- Steve provided a Census URL, no official Census data yet
- Chris said Parks and Recreation is planning for a statewide trail data project
