  • Hub Explorer has been updated as requested by GISTC to include an additional basemap to serve as a background map
  • The new Vendor Pool information is now available from the GIS website
  • The ArcGIS Pro class went well
• NDGIS Users Conference
  • Abstract deadline August 4!
  • Sponsors/exhibitors welcome!

  • The updated dataset will be reviewed by the Guard
  • Additional metadata will be requested
• Google Imagery
  • A contract is now in place to allow the DES and other agencies to access this data
• Main Street Initiative
  • A draft of suggestions organized by data, systems, and coordination was reviewed
  • The GISTC believes that some agencies and the cities and counties they support would benefit by having internal GIS resources
  • The state could provide assistance to local government (and visitors to those areas) using existing resources, for example, provide maps of current events such as the Magpie fire
  • The GISTC suggested they meet with the Governor's Office to help discern what is required and prioritize those needs
