Meeting Recap
- Imagery - Google, Options, NAIP
- The DES imagery web page has information for government agencies and their contractors
- NAIP imagery will be flown for 2018; 1-foot imagery is available via subscription from Hexagon
- We plan to stay with NAIP imagery for this and support the DES imagery, but keeping our options open
- Database - Transition, Feature Datasets
- The GIS Hub databases will be moved to SQL Server, either on on-premise or in the cloud depending on the outcome of a proof of concept test
- Considering the possibility of moving all feature classes to the "root" folder of the enterprise geodatabase. Feature datasets work well to organize data but create issues such as locking and granular permissions. We will run some more tests and then decide.
- Parcels
- Working on getting estimates of budget guidelines from a number of companies for creating a statewide parcel dataset
- MOVEit
- Originally set up for obtaining city boundary data from cities
- This can also be used as a means for city and county government to provide data to the state
- Provides a consistent interface, doing away with the need to use email for transfering data
