  • CIO has resigned for family reasons
  • We need a data steward for tribal data
  • North Dakota will likely host the 2025 MAGIC Clearinghouse Summit (second time)
• Budget Requests
  • Geospatial Program will submit budget requests for FTE and Geospatial Roadmap and include the mandated -3% budget reduction
• Strategic Plan Goals
  • We plan to incorporate the definition of data governance from the Statewide Data Strategy
  • Our Strategic Plan mentions this intention of aligning with State data strategy
• Roundtable/Open Forum
  • A big takeaway from the recent MAGIP conference was how to best reach students, to get them involved
  • North Dakota should have statewide QL2 lidar data by the end of the year
  • Some discussion on fire districts (used to allocate insurance funds) and response boundaries, which include fire boundaries (relates to dispatch and 911 call centers).  These two datasets frequently closely match.
