You will provide short-term individual, family, and group counseling. You will provide crisis intervention and risk assessments in the office, in the community and on-call. Services are provided in homes and communities, and therefore, travel is a norm.To be considered for the Addiction Counselor position, you are required to have a bachelor's degree in Addiction Counseling, Addiction Studies, Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology, AND have current licensure as an Addiction Counselor (LAC) by the North Dakota Board of Addiction Counseling Examiners.We will consider filling with an Addiction Tech at a lower pay rate - Must have completed all but two academic courses required for the addiction counseling field in a bachelor's or master's degree program, this includes Addiction Counseling, Addiction Studies, Social Work, Counseling or Psychology. As a Temporary Equipment Operator, you will perform highway, roadway, and structure maintenance. This includes operating heavy equipment to perform required maintenance duties like basic snow and ice control/removal. You will complete highway maintenance duties, which include assisting in installing, repairing, and maintaining highway signs and guardrails. To complete these tasks and others assigned you will operate power tools and other equipment to perform maintenance duties. Part of this job is to keep the roadways clear of any hazards; this includes litter, waste, debris, garbage, and carcasses. You will complete building and ground maintenance duties and general routine maintenance of the roadway and radio system equipment. You will also perform minor preventive and repair maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Maintain necessary paperwork, including time records, activity reporting, daily diary, road reports, etc. You will receive training and perform construction project duties under close supervision. An important part of this position and the culture at the NDDOT is to maintain a safe working environment for yourself, your coworkers, and others.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered as a Temporary Equipment Operator II, you must have a valid North Dakota Class A driver license with airbrakes and a cargo tank endorsement and two years of relevant experience.This position requires reporting to work within 30 minutes, after hours, on weekends, and on holidays during emergency events.Employment of the selected candidate will be contingent on satisfactorily completing the interview process and the required drug test, medical screening, reference check, driver record check and federal clearinghouse query screening.
