Ruth Meiers Adolescent Center - Grand Forks, ND - Temp Residential Direct Care Associate - Youth Pick up shifts as the needs arise, must work at least 2 shifts a month. This is an ongoing temporary position. On a temporary basis, hourly rate is $26.25 per hour. Base pay will be determined upon hire and will fall within a range of $19-$24 per hour. Temporary increase in effect for an undetermined amount of time.As a Direct Care Associate III working with youth in a residential setting, you will provide positive mentoring and guidance to young people impacted by behavioral health disorders. You will serve as a role model, exhibiting a positive and respectful approach in all interactions. You will teach daily living activities, including household tasks, hygiene task, effective communication, and socialization with the goal of helping those you serve increase their independence. An important part of this position is assisting the youth to articulate their goals and what is important for them. You will teach self-advocacy and self-help strategies to assist the youth in reaching their goals. Assist the utility coordinator with identifying utilities and ownership.
